Perhaps they didn't want him to do an 'Ashton' and break the news himself, while posing in a Wigan shirt.

Sale have the right to do what they wish. They Dimes clearly wanted to tell his fans what was going on and thats exactly what he has done. Cant imagine he wants anything at the club not focused on staying in the Aviva Prem.
