We're going in to 2016 with a reasonably settled squad which makes a nice change and we can't afford for that to change at this late stage.

Is it 100% certain that the Wigan player linked with a move to Aus is Ben Flower? I know that Ryan Sutton was being coveted by a few clubs over there last year after impressing for England academy on tour in 2013 or 2014.

The side needs Flower more then it needs Sutton 'at the moment'. Im a big fan of Suttons potential but that's what it is at the minute and Flower is our best prop when on form.

We're short of one prop as it is IMO so to lose another (and our best IMO) would kill us.

Penrith are rumoured to be looking at a SL Prop to toughen up their pack. I would suggest Flower could fit that bill.

Big-name switch

Wackiest rumour of the week comes in the form of an England star supposedly heading to a rival Super League club. This player has had his injury problems over the years, but he remains a star of the competition and has been a key figure at his club for some time. He has relatives who have played for his supposed new destination, but we just can’t see the move happening, especially when he has a future coaching role lined up at his current side. We’ll keep you posted if the unbelievable occurs.

Wonder who this could be its from Love Rugby League perhaps you've seen it.

Clearly Lockers. I'd be stunned if there was anything in it.

There was some talk about a bit of a fall out between Wane and Lockers last year and his form wasn't great for us (yet was excellent for England) but I still can't see it.

That O'loughlin rumour has been knocking around for a while, we still need another back rower so you never know but i doubt Wigan would let him go even at his age he's still a good player when fit.
