But 2010 was the judging season about signings according to IL. so thats were i will start
Or have the goal posts been moved, I mean who have we been linked with recently in the media? I can't think of anyone, yes may have been linked with Griffin but only on here I've not read it anywhere else. We all know that when players sign for clubs it always makes it out before the club officially announce, so I base my assumptions on this that we haven't/ probably wont sign anyone for 2010. Although hopefully things will be made a little clearer come time of the fans forum.

IL needs to address this issue on Wednesday.
One reason we may not have announced anything is that the player contract cattle market date is 1st September so the announcements may not be allowed until after this date even if the deals are done.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

So Leeds release an young English International and sign an "average Aussie" to replace him. If that had been Wigan we'd have been hung, drawn and quartered.
Did Leeds force Smith to sign for Wasps?

Wigan didn't force Ashton to go to Union, but they still got hung for it. In this respect, Leeds are definitely fair game, as would you lot be if you ever produced anyone that RU might conceivably be interested in.

Exactly!
i remember the lines at the time being something like 'if you can afford to pay big money out for overseas nobodies then why can't you do it for a homegrown player like Ashton' blah blah blah.

Ashton wasn't worth the monies being offered in RU, I seriously doubt any player crossing to RU is worth the equivalent salary in RL.
There has been interest in some over youngsters, in fact one went to Sale and returned after twelve months.

It's the Robinsons, Aspinwalls and Wilds that gave you this tag.
