I thought Charnley had a good game the other night, though he's still not the force he once was.

Would be disappointing if he put on a big show this season - purely to up his asking price for Union.

But I get a bit fed-up of the roadshow that always seems to surround certain players. Lots of newspaper stories, lots of rumours about how they're not happy and all that. To a lesser extent, Ryan Hampshire is starting to look like another one. The common factor, of course, is that so often these players are underperforming. I don't think I'd be completely sorry to lose Josh now, especially if the rumour about Carney turned out to be true.

is it just me that's maybe less than overwhelmed by the possibility of penalty and yellow card magnet Carney heading this way?
