We have to start taking goal kicking into consideration. I don't know who is available but if we get the chance to sign a goal kicking winger I'd jump at it.

Actually, looking at last season's stats, Mantellato kicked 70 and missed 30, so exactly 70%. Not that amazing, then.

Heard from a few people with ties at the club last night that we have offered Carney a deal to replace Charnley.

Heard last night that Wigan are no longer persuing Bob Beswick. Leigh wanting a fee was the main issue. Heard he is on his way out of Leigh though.

I'd still like us to get a hooker in but I don't think Beswick is the style we need. We've got Powell who is really developing and testing sides with some clever play out of dummy half. I think a quick player who could just add a running threat for 15-20 mins here and there would be useful.
