Tommy Leuluai would be a great back up 9 for the rest of this season and beyond at the right price, we could offer him peanuts on a 2 year deal and offer a 3 year coaching job on decent money ....wink,wink, nudge, nudge.

If he is fit and ready to play in the next couple of months he would be a cracking signing.....for 2017 not so sure.

For those that haven't, go watch Todd Carney with Jon Wells after the match on sky. Matty Smith should probably tune in too.

Interesting his comments about Glenn Stewart and his input from Manly into Catalans defensive structures. We could do with that NRL input but in attack! His comments about his communication in defense and the confidence that gives the rest of the players outside him highlights something I feel we are missing - leadership and experience. Signing grafters like Willie Isa and Taulima Tautai are great, but going forward I'd like to see some real ready made class in our recruitment.

Does anyone think Keegan Hirst could do a job for us?

Could be the next Hill/Walmsley, he reminds me a bit of Scott Taylor in his build and the way he plays.

He's 28 and a big lad, his playing style would suit how Wane likes his props.

I hope we are monitoring the Konrad Hurrell situation. Not a regular in the Warriors 17 but he would both absolutely kill it over here and put bums on seats.

Hurrell and Carney to replace Charnley and Sarg would more than suit me. Frightening power and pace in the backline.

Hurrell would be a real statement of intent if we could pull it off. He'd be an unbelievable signing for SL not just Wigan. Whilst I can't see it happening, we can hope! Hopefully Sam could influence him if there was a chance!

Any club with money and ambition should never say never and always look to recruit beyond what they think is attainable. Occasionally some of them say yes.
