I am fed up of the same brainless statement every week after matches that the players are going to have it tough next week. There is no excuse for the said incident but what do you expect when players go out together for a booze up after being encouraged to knock lumps out of each other for days before.
Maybe this is like a boil bursting after the numerous times it has got to the day before a match and the announcement comes out that a player is out because of an injury sustained in training.

If the players aren't adult enough to leave their work at the door of the training ground when they've been raised playing an ultra tough sport since they were kids then that's the players issue.
If the player rumoured to be in hot water is to leave the club it will be devastating from a playing point of view but if it's serious enough to warrent him being sacked then I'd guess the club hasn't got an option.
