Anyone else got the feeling that with the news a Wigan player has been released to sign for another SL club that we could just be seeing Soward in and Smith to Saints?

That would be the biggest and funniest meltdown ever on the other side of the hill.

If that happens we have a scenario of Hardaker to the Panthers, Soward here and Smith to Saints. I think there is only one winner there and an extraordinary bit of business if that's how it pans out.

I really hope so, because even though he can't defent that well, he is sure is a good attacking HB.

If it is true it is crazy but understandable. Their are a couple of schools of thought in this. He liked it in London and want's to return to the club or...... He has a deal set up in either SL or the NRL next season, Penrith needed the cap space and he has a few months to play for a side with an impending contract on the horizon.

However... news reports say that he has been released to join a SUPER LEAGUE club so it's going to be interesting and a great signing to whoever get's him. I am pretty sure he wasn't short of suitors.

Would be worth it just for the fall out from the stains fans

Jamie Soward is a much better defender nowadays than he was when he was at the Dragons, say. But you don't buy halves for their defence, anyway (hence the turned-up noses at Sandow?).

I'd have him n a heart-beat.

Soward is off to Widnes, Saints in for Brown could be a possibility
