In both games against Salford, I thought their number 6 played better than Myler, Ratchford I think his name is. No one has mentioned him.
If not him, Jordan Turner would be fab.

If we are building a team with potential I would get Ashton back for Full Back, he was a good support player and has pace, something we have been lacking for quite a while. Though he was stupid to parade in his union top. Pat Richards is not a full back and for a man of his size he very rarely breaks a tackle when returning the ball.

I would keep Coley and put him in the 2nd row instead of Bailey. I think Coley is better suited to the 2nd row and he could possibly help our talented young uns coming through. I'd love to see Sam Thaiday at Wigan! Joel Tomkins should be at 13.

I would keep O'Carrol and Precott, but we need someone in the mould of Webke or Tallis to help the team and the young props development. I really like Eamon, I think he tries hard, doesn't give ground easily and takes the ball in hard and wants to play for Wigan. Anyone remember what happened to Morley when he went for Eamon?! Are there any sh*t house props in the lower leagues that could do a job for us? I think we need someone to help Fielden, like he had when he was at Bradford.

It seems to me that Goulding has been forgotten about. Someone said that he wasn't Wigan standard, if he was that bad why was he given the number 3 shirt? Personally i'd have him back for next season on the condition that he passes to his winger!! However we have a habit of ruining good players.

Get rid of Bailey, Phelps - we could use their quota spots more wisely, and Carmont - his poor defending has cost us points this season and injuries take longer to heal when you are older.

Totally agree.

He wouldn't fit in anywhere sadly we are saturated in his positions.

Not happening and I am perfectly happy for Phelps to stay another year to develop. Pat is an ace winger now.

Bailey should go. As should Coley. Neither are worth it. Thiaday isn't going to happen. Joel at 13 wouldn't change a thing, except restricting O'Loughlin.

Agreed

The last bit is true, let him develop until Carmont is gone, away from us. There isn't any room at the moment.

Phelps and Carmont are fine, they do wonders for our cap at the moment and are fully adequate for SL next year.

You can't say things like that on here. Its a proven fact the salary cap does not allow anybody to pay players too much - although to be fair I think Stuart Fielden or Karl Pryce would have been better examples than Matt King if you did want to argue the concept.

Ha ha ha ha ha your soooooo funny.

Another troll on the Wigan board there’s a first eh.

And the laughable thing is it's a troll trying to tell us that Matt King is worth his salary.

Fielden saved us from relegation what has King ever done for you guys?

He could easily replace Carmont in the centre and act as cover for several other positions including 6 and 13.

Goulding/Pryce are scrapping for the no.4 shirt. That would be the end of both of them.

Turner hands down over Goulding, Pryce needs a big year next year prior to even being considered for a starting shirt. Lets not forget for 2011 we will also have a shed load of cap space to play with and so should comfortably be able to retain a utility player in the squad comfortably.

Looks like Paul Johnson will be coming back according to this video interview with him-

http://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/a ... Page1.html

He says he wants to go back to Wigan which unless he is doing would see a strange thing to say.

If he wasn't injured for the vast majority of each season i'd have him back in a second but he looks shot to bits.

Strange move although i presume a cheaper replacment for Bailey.

When Noble goes he may take Fielden to his new club with him, again.
That would free up a shed load of cap money for 2010.
If Fielden went along with Bailey and Coley the new coach could buy half a team never mind two props and a 2nd row/prop.
