Sorry, but 2 weeks in our home shirt is still awful. And to those who say it doesn't matter as long as we're playing well, sorry but you're wrong. Clearly, we all want Wigan to win, and that's the main thing, but the kit is the part & parcel of the identity of the club. Cherry & White hoops are our club colours - not a cherry wash over a cherry & white design, or any other combination of cherry & white (even cherry with a white V, however good it looks). Would Celtic fans accept an all green shirt? Would Saints fans accept a shirt without a red V? No, because then it's not their shirt. Similarly, however good, bad or indifferent this shirt is (and it's a dog's breakfast), take the Wigan badge off, and no-one would identify it as a Wigan shirt.

FFS, fans on other websites, without taking the p1$$, have said that all we needed to do was issue a cherry & white shirt and it would have flown off the shelves - yet we insist on this c4ck, and then try & pass it off as a success!!

Thats garbage! If everyone bought it in blind faith anyway, they'd go on producing cr*p shirts and not asking supporters what they want.

We shall all boycott it this year and make no bones about it, they will get the message and won't make the same mistake again! They've made a huge dreadful error!

Sorry but at the time of reading this there were 5 of us logged in plus 30 visitors. It hardly makes this forum the voice of the 10000 strong fan base in my opinion.

Well said Jinkin Jimmy. The shirt is ok and thousands of Wigan fans will buy it. This thread has maybe no more than 100 multiple posters. 100 out of 10,000 season ticket holder & 100 out of 35,000 who were at Old Trafford.

The shirt is awful simple as that, wont buy anything i don't like even my children have said (completely unprompted) they hate it and don't want for xmas and they adore everything Wigan.

The new shirts have been selling well by all accounts, not my cup of tea but each to there own.
