Scott Logan still big, and still playing. Would you have him back?

It was discussed a few pages back IIRC. Cruncher said something which I totally agree with, something like - if he can't honour a 2 year contract for being homesick he has no business playing SL and we shouldn't want a player like that.

FWIW I'd love a Scott Logan type prop.

Not replacing him set us back big time.

It will only be a coaching announcement.

It seems very unlikely that we will have any new signings going into next season.

Bailey and Carmont will extend their contracts.

Three props will be off contract at the end of 2010, all of whom will probably leave, giving us plenty of chance to restructure the pack.

Hopefully in 2011 we will have three new props.

Then I think you're probably expecting too much.

What I do anticipate though, is the new man assessing our needs over the close-season, and then drawing up his own list of possible new recruits.

A lot of talk on Mikes site that James Graham has signed and will be anounced after the grand final, supposedly Saints have had enough of him spitting his dummy out and arguing with potter, whether it's true or not is a different story, i haven't seen anything on here about yet so who know's, i now wait for the usual Experts to come and rip apart my post

Not only has he got the off season to evaluate players but the whole of next year as well, there's a rather large list of players some on very large salary's that contracts end in 2010. We may see a similar lift in form with some of these players just like we did with Coley for the reason that there playing for new contracts.

McGuire's coming in at a good time really he has time to evaluate those who are here and has the chance to bin the rubbish at the end of the season leaving him with what could be rather large pot of money to spend come 2011.

It's a load of rubbish. Graham isn't leaving Saints and if he does, it won't be to Wigan.

It probably is a load of rubbish but if he were to leave Saints, why not Wigan?

Or would you expect him to fit under the elastic salary cap at Wire?
