'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.' Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.
Tautai signing up would be huge. He along with with Sutton have been very good so far this year and you'd like to think we can build a front row around those two.
If he walks through the door then you start to worry, especially when you consider the injury clouds hanging over Flower and Clubb. If those two were fully fit and at their best, we'd have a superb set of four props but there's a few question marks at the minute.
Just been reading that David Fifita re-signed for Wakefield after doing a u-turn mid week. I can't be the only one to think we missed a trick with not signing him up. He's been great for Wakefield and I think he'd of been just what we needed in the pack
From Wigantoday.net a bit of cap space for next year.
Meanwhile, it has emerged fringe players Connor Farrell, Kyle Shelford and Gabriel Fell won’t be offered new deals when their contracts expire at the end of this season. Forward Farrell, who has not played for Wigan since 2015, is on loan at Swinton, while Shelford and Fell have been playing for Workington. Shelford played one game for Wigan last year, while Fell has not figured in the first-team.

Would have been a good signing,he really eats up the meters and seems a good character, not studied enough of his defence to make a judgement but that might be why Wane wasn't interested?Or just no room under the cap?
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.

I thought we had high hopes for Shelford, surprised at that.

Perhaps because we have had to improve deals for lads who were under the radar at the start of the season. This time a year and a half ago Marshal was being told the same as Shelford. There is still hope for him as he is talented, if a bit on the small side for his position.
