Another sign that British RL as a professional game is slowly dying.

I await the usual posts from the usual idiots defending the SC and the status quo in RL generally....

If he does go, I take it there will be a very large cheque coming the way of the Warriors - didnt he sign a long-term deal last year?

If he goes the Warriors will get a very large cheque. It will be a shame if he does go to RU but at the end of the day a career in profesional rugby is only about 10-15 years. Out of that the individual will also want to earn as much money as possible. If your honest with yourself if someone comes to you and says would you like to do a similar job in better surroundings for twice as much, what would you do?

I know most are already aware of this but...

Webb is a member of the New Zealand national rugby league team. Although he is Australian born and is an Indigenous Australian of Torres Strait Islander origin, he became eligible for selection after living in New Zealand for three years.

To play the residency card twice because you probably can't get in the team of your choice is a bit of a joke.

Providing there is any truth in it.

We have already lost Hoffman, coley, O Carroll, Cross, davies from last seasons squad.

Compared to Wire? Why? Because they have signed a 30+ year old Aussie and Ratchford...the most overrated young player in the country.
