And it was a tackle and not a shoulder charge. It doesn’t help though when you get noise around an incident and the comedy duo Barry and Terry seemed to bring that. Amazingly Lam said he’d not watched it back but thought it could’ve been a red card

i watched the tackle back on Warriors TV and tried to slow it right down

in real time you dont even see the tackle, its only in the replays where they focus on it

Wardle is poised and moving in a forwards direction to make the tackle. He is a fraction of a second late, as the ball has gone. He however, does not hit him high, or shoulder charge. If GoB still had the ball in his hands it would virtually have been a perfect tackle. Where he could perhaps have helped himself was if he completed the tackle by wrapping his arms around him and taking him to ground. Instead he sort of hits him and turns to make the next tackle

Last Thursday i saw a team playing with cohesion and everyone left it out there. If they do the same on Friday but still get beat then fair enough because as much as they are rivals, Saints are a very good side we all know that. Better than us but i believe those tides are turning slowly but surely as both sides head in different directions of transition. I just hope both teams start and finish with 13 men on the pitch and give us a spectacle. The dry weather forecast should ensure it is a cracker and derby week has started today for me. I am starting to get that itch. Hopefully the working week flies by. Bring it on.

Agree the tide is turning slightly, we were nowhere near them in 2021. But last year we played 4 and won 2. We won convincing at home and won the only “must win” game in the semi final. We got beat convincingly on Good Friday and the magic game could have gone either way.
