You refer to our “lucky” win over Salford in the SF last year yet blatantly don’t reference the fact you were 2 mins away from losing the CC Final in a game where Hudds were largely the better side overall? Can’t have it both ways

I can have it both ways,as one was a foul the other by a fantastic finish by a player who outpaced your backline.

I know but I was alluding to the semi that Salford had a possible try stopped by cheating from your side.

The final I hadnt mentioned that as I had mentioned us beating you in the semi I only replied to your comment about the final that I had omitted it (we deserved to win the CC as we didnt win by cheating)

Personally I don’t see how you can genuinely believe we are no longer a force but also take us extremely seriously. It’s one or the other. Or are you just covering your backside for every eventuality?

I agreed our discipline has been poor and acknowledged we haven’t consistently hit our usual standards yet this year. Did I agree we are “shot at” or are no longer a force or will struggle to win anything? Absolutely not.

So you agree that you have problems re discipline and that I think once that is sorted you will go ok.
I dont care if you disagree with the "shot at " comment ,but what I see is that things are not sorted you will win nothing.

If things are sorted you could win everything
If things are not I believe you will win nothing (WCC the exception before you remind me)
Surely that is clear enough for you and I am not contradicting myself or covering my backside.

Last year they were lucky to get to the final.
They have a new coach (could be another KFC ) who seems to be out of his depth (nice bloke though)

They will struggle but it isnt impossible to turn things around,need to sort their discipline out though .

that is all I have said in my comments that if your team is as it is now -
players getting banned
players arguing
problems in camp-re- discipline you would win nothing but sort them out and then you could win the lot as you are the bookies favourites as pointed out by your good self.
Now I also think Wigan could win,doesnt mean we will but we have a chance as much as most .
thought I would throw that in.

Did you not see Makinson take a Salford player out in the act of scoring.
Doesnt mean you would have lost but it should have been a 8 point try puts a different complexion on the game dont you think.

But the ref gave the penalty but not the try now that is down to opinions in all fairness I think St Helens got the rub of the green re that.
