You do sense there will be some movement before the start of the season. Hopefully it will be things we see as positive and not players going we'd like to keep.

FPN is definitely still here. Most of the squad including him were on Wigan Lane Saturday. There was no sign of Gelling and I've not seen him on any of the pictures from the community work the players are doing this evening.

Sam Tomkins is tweeting videos of pre season training every day and Gelling is definitely there. ST posted a video of him doing press ups with big weights on his bare back!!

I’d say Shaun Wane on this one!! Bateman is far more effective in the second row than he’s been at centre albeit it’s a different level.

Yeah I've seen a few of those.

I've not seen the article myself about him being unhappy. It seems strange that he would get citizenship and then leave.

Bennett might well agree with Wane that Bateman is a better back-rower than he is centre, but he clearly doesn't trust Percival.

As far as I remember Bennett wanted to take John to Newcastle as a kid but he wouldn't because of his daughter being very young at the time. Seems Bennett is very keen on him as a player and I agree with his selection at centre at the minute because he is the best option defensively we have there
