I'm not sure how anyone can genuinely believe that a player is worth a year's deal or will add much-needed aggression to a powder-puff pack if he spends much of that one year sidelined through suspension. How many chances does Hock need to prove that he's too unreliable to be a professional sportsman?
When Hock 1st came through he had more potential than almost any forward I’d seen at his age. The truth is though, his self destructive nature cost him a top class career and I’ll bet he regrets his actions every day. He’s the biggest waste of talent I’ve ever seen and he had more than a fair share of chances. He’s nowhere near the player he was and at his best he was nowhere near the player he could have become. I’d steer well clear.
