Our atmosphere there has been pretty good this year considering 'the singers' are spread out in various parts of the east stand, hence the poor timings.

I don't think you'll bring 4k, maybe 3.5 tops. For all the chat Wigan give about the quantity of their support, it should be expected they bring about 4-5k.

In June when you beat us, we were promised an invasion of Widnes. You filled the end holding 2.8k.
Saints, not in our best season took near 4.5k to wigan on Good Friday. In our trophy-laden years we've had a good 6k there with overspill into the East/West stands at Wigan Athletic's ground. So with Wigan on course for their first double in.... Big away support is expected.

give us 5K tickets and we'll bring 5K+

What people dont realise is that Dave Whelan is actually a bigger rugby fan that he is football, I wish sky would show some of his reactions when we have scored dramatic tries, anyone see him when we won on good friday? Jumping round the stand. Makes me laugh when people spout all this "Whelan tells you what to do rubbish". We had to move our game a few seasons back because he was abiding by premier league guidelines, not because he was being awkward.

Our allocation is now 3500 now we've received south stand tickets, not including the ones people have bought from your site, and they have only gone on general sale this morning. I think it's safe to say we will be bringing more than 3.5k.

How many we bring is irrelevent its just a number. The noise from the Wigan fans on the other hand will be electric and drown out anything from Saints.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

I'm not just talking about the game at Widnes, I am also talking about the games you play at our place and at the semi final and the final last season. Saints fans never sing in time so it always sounds crap. The only place it sounded half decent was KR which was probably why your fans loved the atmosphere so much.

Well we already have an allocation of over 3.5k so you can put that to bed with so many buying from saints as well. Just over 4k would be my guess.

We sold ALL of the tickets we were given, we can't do much more than that really. Most Wigan fans wouldn't have assumed there would be so many tickets left in the saints end would they ;) 2.8k was our allocation.

The difference is that we have huge away end with class facilities.... we couldn't fit anymore in that away end at Widnes. For this game we have been given extra tickets to we will sell them.

So you are admitting saints fans are glory hunters? 6k when times are good and a lot less when times are bad? 4.5k this season but only 3.5-4k last season and I think there was 2.8k saints fans for the play-off game at our place last week ;)
