It's struck me a few times lately that shoulder charges seem to be coming back in under the radar unpunished. In the NRL as well. You are especially likely to get away with it if you are

a) "Little man on big man", or

b) Second man in.

You often see the ball carrier using the shoulder and they never get pulled up for it.

Because it's on the original thread title, but I agree, it shouldn't even be a question especially given the god awful style of play that's been served up these past couple of seasons.

You often see fans shouting for shoulder charges that aren't. Need the rotation of the body and the arm tucked, not just a tackle where the player doesn't use his arm

Wane's post-match comments are hilariously predictable. He'd better hope we "learn from this defeat", because if Saints rack up another number on us, it could get really ugly on Friday. There is definitely a feeling of restlessness building on the terraces after recent weeks.

I still think we'll turn it around and make the GF, but I doubt it'll be much to do with SW.

Who will it have to do with then? This side doesn't have the characters to tell the coach where to go as did the Edwards led side that ignored John Dorahay. And that is what is required.
