I’d go with that 17 but I think Mago will be given a chance to redeem himself. Hopefully there are no injuries in the named squad.
I won’t write Wire off.
They’ve gotten off to a decent start so their confidence will be sky high. The crowd will be right behind them too.
Too close to call for me.
A pity that it won’t be a sell out or that both squads are not at full strength.

Looks like a chance for Hill or Nsemba then if that’s the case. I don’t get Mago’s general attitude, both in games and what is clearly a lax attitude to getting fitter. He’s got no deal after this season and I can’t see Aussie clubs lining up to get him. It could be career end game. In a way I actually admire him for not taking us for a ride, by pulling his tripe out to get a new deal and then downing tools next season (Tautai being a case in point).

Mago doesn't want to be here so there is no point keeping him. Cut our losses, free up some salary cap, and sign a player who wants to play in the famous cherry and white.

Apparently it's Singleton/Byrne to start up against Vaughan/Kasiano. Starting with Singleton and Byrne always makes me shudder but could be particularly tough tonight. If we can get to the interchanges within a score I'd be more than happy.

Well I was not expecting 3 backs on our bench!

Unless there's an unknown injury I didn't think we'd see Russell.
(Duftys rumoured hand issue?).

Expect big minutes from Vaughan, Kasiano and McGuire.
Interchanges will revolve around 13 I guess with Matautia and Clark.

Then again - what do I know.
