Said before that I thought it was only ever a matter of time.

Of those three, Brisbane would surely be the best option. Bennett continued to pick him during the World Cup despite a series of ho-hum performances, so must really see something in him. In that light seems more than likely that he'll regularly be in contention for first grade at the Broncos.

Not gonna lose any sleep over this. This isn't the first or last time we'll see one of our stars leave for the NRL. It's now part and parcel of supporting a SL club.

It's now up to the club to seek out a replacement so we can move onward and look to win games and silverware.

The only hard feelings are with the RFL, who have allowed the British game to drop out of contention.

Hurry up and get a deal done then we can get on with signing his replacement and not have any unrest at the business end of the season

The club already know about it (and Sutton) so I think the recruitment/succession plans will already be underway.

I take it that as he is still contracted to us, we'll get a hefty fee for him. If its north of £300K, then we should bite their hands off, only this time don't buy him back on big wages when a season in the NRL breaks him.
