It wasn't just that to be fair. It was very evident in a few of Betts' last post game interviews that he had lost all hope and confidence.

I dont think Tim Smith is very good in defence but you can't have a go at just him for that try. Get a grip.

Exactly, how many half backs to you see tackle second rowers of that size one on one that close to the line? I doubt whether Sean Long or Danny McGuire would have nailed him either, or be left in a position where they have too.
