Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go

It was a good time to be a Wigan fan

Seeing the best of Barrett was great

Hull was a fantastic day out, great game, great atmosphere

Best away atmosphere for quite a long time I think.

Barrett was quality in those few games, seeing the best of Calderwood was great as well heehe.

'Oh what a time to be a fan' quoted from our new famous song.

What a night that was

Was with a couple of mates and one of ther dad's who when we were 30-6 down said 'Should I warm the car up?'

Thank God he didn't

At half time I heard some loud mouth yorkshire r sole banging his gums off saying how it was going to be a win by 50 or more by the bulls. It was amazing how he suddenly went quiet then next thing he had gone! JOG ON CHUMP

To be fair there are quite a few good away atmospheres :)

Dire and Stains (last game) I thought were very good last season :D

Can't really remember Calderwood's performance's

I can remember Millard and Fletcher being outstanding though :D

Even better, stevo and eddie were saying the mighty bulls were on there way to old trafford.

That is something we will all show our kids and grandkids later in life.

I was gutted at that result. We went into the game lacking our playmaker Harkin (we were totally dependant on him back then). Had he been available I'm sure we'd have won. He was out thanks to dirty St Helens due Haggerty and Forber being sent out to maim him by Murphy a few weeks earlier.
