To Build up Match Fitness. Deal can be cancelled at any stage. He travels with them to play Toulouse Away on Saturday.

Matty Russell also joins Leigh on Dual-Reg according to the Evening Post.

Don't have a problem at all with players who have been out through injury or those on the fringes of selection for the 1st going out on loan/dual reg as they will be getting matches under their belt to sharpen them up and at a higher level than playing in the under 20's. It's no point keeping them training and not playing at the highest level possible and we don't want to put an unfit player into our own starting 17 when we have 20+ fit and capable players already fighting for a place


It did Josh no harm whatsoever in 2010 playing for Blackpool and HKR

I'm sure Paul would prefer to be getting regular rugby no matter who he's playing for if only to gain match fitness. A good move, really.

I think the main idea behind it is that the 20s have a blank weekend. Makes sense in that regard because I can't see where a not 100% Prescott would fit in the first team at moment. Flower back for Spencer should be confirmed when the 19 comes out in the next half hour or so.

Toulouse this weekend ...then he will be ready for a bench seat against widnes so 1 of the other props can have a rest and depending how he goes he will be in the mix fitting for a place against london and warrington

Jamie Acton and James Greenwood are at the Scorpions on dual registration. Scott Leatherbarrow joined them last week in the defeat against the Skolars also on dual registration.

I haven't heard anything about Gil Dudson. He seems to be the forgotten man at the moment.

Spotted that too and wondered where he'd have been off to, then read the Prescott/South Wales/Toulouse news and put two and two together on it... no confirmation that I've seen anywhere, but I guess it would make sense. It's been a surprise to me that Flower is the one who's cemented a first team place soonest - having watched Dudson through the Four Nations I thought he'd be the one ripping it up here, but it seems Wane doesn't think he's ready yet whilst Flower has taken his chance well.

at least we will have enough props to give the lads a weeks break when the coach thinks they need it
