I’m sure some wouldn’t be happy with this and I wouldn’t be either were these the only signings we had made in the last few years but when you add, Hardaker (Former man of Steel) French and Hastings (Current Man of Steel) to the list then consider contract upgrades retentions, investment in top quality youth from outside the club and impending arrival of the best secondrow forward in the NRL then in my opinion you and the many people you know who are not happy need to manage their expectations.
Too much reasoning, logic and understanding of the complications involved for some to understand.
Much easier to just say "Lenegahn out", "Wane out", " Sack player (insert name this week, remove and replace next week)", Leneghans pocketing the money, blah blah blah.
I suppose Ian Leneghans time will come when hes taken to court for falsifying the books, lying to shareholders etc. Because someone on and internet forum is accusing him of lying about what he spends on players wages (I would assume this would all be in the books wouldn't it?) and telling us that they "know many fans who arent happy either" to lend weight ro support their statement.
Same people who are peed off at losing Harry Rushton, who would be peed off if we lost Harry Smith, smithies, Havard etc. Are then wanting us to spend more and more on let's say established top line players (despite the fact and evidence that we already do) would be the first to criticise if we lost thise youngsters players due to having a short term view view and not being able to keep hold of the youngsters coming through for the long term, or even get them to come to the club in the first place as money is being spent too much at the top end and not at the bottom to support the club (see 2005/6/7 before evidence of how that works).
I'd like to guess that a lot of those people with the same message are the ones moaning about paying for P&P on an item from the shop, tickets are too dear etc etc.
