Hastings is class, his talent and reading of a game are simply a class above. I cannot wait to see him in a Wigan shirt neat season.

If we get 2 years out of him I'll be shocked, but absolutely made up too.

I think he's going to absolutely smash it with us next year and we'll still be talking about him 10 years later like we do about Trent.

I have to agree. The man is elite class. I am stunned no NRL side wanted him. Here are the highlights from the London v Salford game. He absolutely bossed it on his own. What an asset this man will be. Just signing Hastings alone i was happy but with the other additions i can't wait to get to next season already. Could still be some fun with this season yet too.

Warrington are trying to bring Widdop over early, before Friday’s deadline.

Not surprised - without Austin its game over in the cup final.

I’m not sure the article I read said that. It was more of a suggestion that they might try then suggesting they are.

I’d be very surprised if they had the cap space.

He wont be allowed to play in the challenge cup, surely?

Patrick Ah Van is allowed to play in the 1895 final for Widnes.

Challenge cup registration deadline was 19 July.

SL deadline is 9 August, so he would be able to play SL but not the cup final.

Only two games back for the Dragons after a very long injury lay-off, and he's looked very rusty so far.
