I was under the impression that all the Super games would be avavilable either on SKY or SKY app. It seems odd when in previous rounds I have had access to two friday games at the same time and when there is a stand alone game its not available or is it?
Amazing isn't it. All this promotional work and trying to raise the profile, They put it on billboards across London and plaster it all over the subways and then they don't even put it on the TV. You couldn't make it up.
Great work IL and Sky you have really got this one off to a flying start. Dead before it's alive this one. Brainfart of an idea. Would just top it off if we have surrendered a home advantage game to lose it, now that would be the absolute ripest cherry on top of the cake with Huddersfield breathing down our necks and looking seemingly on top form.

I think you'll find it's two live games (Thursday and Friday) plus one online. This week it's Hudd v Cas and Leeds v Saints live and Wire v Hull online. The middle eights live game is Halifax v Salford.
As I've said previously Melbourne took a home game to New Zealand, Souths took one to Perth, Manly to the Central Coast and another game was played in Darwen. RL fans over here seem so insular, is it any wonder we're still regarded as an M62 corridor game?
What is a BIG concern is that it seems a LOT of fans (even Wigan ones) appear to want the game on Saturday to fail. I really can't get my head around that attitude.

It just doesn't seem to be achieving anything though. IL can talk in the press about growing the game outside the heartlands, building relationships with sponsors, getting more fans, creating a new talent pool etc but this game doesn't seem like the right setting to do any of that. The ground has been chosen because it's cheap, there isn't a local fanbase that is going to be tapped into, it's had very little press attention, the majority of Wigan fans don't want it, it isn't going to make any money. It needs to be a much more showcase event IMO. A MW at the Olympic Stadium, or the Emirates or something similar, with 40,000+ in attendance, might gain interest and go about achieving some of the goals IL has spoken about, but 5/6k on in Millwall watching a regular league game doesn't tick any boxes.
I definitely don't want anything the club does to fail and I will happily eat my words.
I agree with everyone! I don't want it to fail, but I can't see IL's objectives being reached by a game at Millwall. I'd like to see Leeds, Saints, etc, following suit, though, as noted re the NRL. And not just in London either, but Birmingham, Newcastle, WHY.
(That said, I don't think the comparison with the NRL is that precise; I'd imagine that Cooper Cronk and Shaun Johnson are much more household names across the whole country there than, say, Rangi Chase and Jamie Peacock are here)
