Auto Renewal Error - Junior East Stand Tickets : Fri Aug 17, 2018 12:04 pm
Hi AllReceived Notification Early august that my Auto renewal would be a certain price and today More than that has been debited (£125 more)
Contacted the club who advised that My son who is 15 has had his price taken as a concession/Young Adult and not a junior (My son turns 16 in September but is still at High school Next Year).
So I am going to both Praise & Criticise in the same post (Just so those who think I'm a Happy Clapper can see that I do have an occasional Whinge!
)I contacted the club 6/7 years ago (Simon Collinson) and asked why someone who sits in the East Stand as a Family ticket got less of a % Discount as a Family than the South - It equated to a Junior paying around £140 for a ticket and those in the South paid £20/£30 - In most business the more money you spend (East Stand) the bigger discount you got - But in this instance and for the past 10/15 years I've paid significantly more % Wise than the South stand.
However - This year they have finally reduced them (My luck it's the last year my youngest son is under16!) so Well done!
Secondly - They used to class your age at the start of the season rather than the fact that some 16yr olds are still at school - It looks like this year they have also changed that as I am being told he is eligible for the Junior ticket.
So Well done on that front (Again a bit late for my first kid but there you go).
However
Why would the email saying he would get his renewal at £30 not be adhered to and they take more out than what the mail said?
Surely the system that told us we were going to pay "X" price should be aligned to the system that takes the money out?

If anyone else is in the same boat I have bee informed that someone from Wigan Warriors had been to the ticket office earlier, advised them the ticket office of the issue and to advise that Wigan would rectify all of those affected and refund the difference shortly. (So again Well done - Although suggest a communication somewhere to let people know would be good also).
