This is unforgiveable from Lenegan. To string everybody along that it was all set in stone and a done deal and then this come out..... No wonder Edwards has been putting out strange comments for the last few months, he too does not seem to know what the hell is going on. It really would not surprise me now if Edwards says no out of principle for being messed around. It seems that all of this was never anything more than an 'idea'.
Why is IL taking all the blame surely Radlinski must be at fault somewhere IL is the chairman Rads is in charge of day to day running and his job to write up a contract.
it really is a sad time to be a wigan fan, ever since the tomkins incident we have been heading downhill rads and lenegan should be ashamed of the way they are ruining a once great club.
This isn't being posted in defence of Lenaghan but surely if Edwards has a problem about contracts he should be talking to Lenaghan about it and not the press.
I am not biased; I'm not bothered who beats St. Helens.

Exactly and why did he not mention this when it was announced?

Exactly my thoughts

Shaun Edwards in early February told several of the Welsh RU players directly he will not be taking over at Wigan. He has also declined several invitations to be studio guest of Sky.
To be fair you got everything right in regards to Zak Hardaker coming / not coming so I am more than entitled to believe you

'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.' Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.

It’s the third or fourth time he’s put doubt on him taking over but the first time he’s mentioned this about the contract. Maybe he’s had enough of dropping hints.
It’s a very strange situation and one I feel Lenagan simply must comment on ASAP because people are quickly losing patience with him.
