Edwards says different. What is enlightening is the club statement this morning doesn't mention the fact he signed a contract.

If it's proved the club have lied to the fans, Lenegan and Radlinski need to leave the club and put it up for sale.

I'm inclined to believe Edwards on this one given the statement regarding Bateman signing to return and then Bateman saying he's not signed anything.
In the main IL has done very well for this club and we should all be very grateful for the stability and consistency he's given us, but this is now looking like a big mess.
If IL and Rads have lied to us then there needs to be some serious grovelling to get fans back on board.

As things stand i dont know who to believe and the only real detail i am interested in if did he / did he not sign a contract.

Im a certified happy clapper and think in general IL has transformed this club. Seems however that he is starting to run things like Whelan did in the last years of his tenure.

If they have lied to us in order to extract money from season ticket holders then that is more disgusting than any breach of salary cap. I agree that IL needs to walk and KR too assuming he is complicit.

What an appalling situation whereby 3 club legends look to have tarnished their reputations in the town with little scope for redemption. Even if SE comes then the comical handling of the last 9 months has undermined everything before it even starts.

Are you for real? He says he was ready to sign a contract last year but was refused. Yet its Edwards fault? Unless the club have some genuine excuse or Edwards is lying then the blame lies solely with the club. No, Edwards is doing what anybody would do. After 9 months of being left in no mans land, hes saying enough is enough.

Not his fault if pen hadn’t been put to paper. Edwards strikes me as a loyal sort of guy, very grounded and a family man. Had he penned a contract back in August I’m convinced we wouldn’t be here now.

you telling he can't pick a phone up or he hasn't even got a contact number to the club that and has to go to the press to talk to them,

now the club is saying he's not answering his phone and now they've gone to press,

what a set of childish actions

I'm a huge Lenegan fan and what he's done for the club, turning it around after the mess Mo left us in. However IF it's proved the club have lied to the fans, I don't see anyway back for either him or Radlinski.
