Whatever you all think of our current situation please spare a thought for Tom Davies . His injury looked a bad one . For me it puts the game into perspective when you see a young lad stretchered off in obvious agony like that. Shorrocks didnt look too good either after that poophouse shot from Peyroux . Best wishes to both lads !

Only news I got was it isn't a compound fracture and will require surgery either Sunday/Monday, it is a season ender without doubt and I hope he comes through the other end.

The big worry with Jake Shorrocks was that he had a loss of sensation in his arms and legs, hence the delay in moving him. He was taken to hospital so thoughts are with both lads.

Terrible to see so many season ending and long term injuries this season for several teams I hope all recover to come back at some point

Jake has been admitted to Salford Royal. Tom has got the right mental attitude to fight back, but it looks like it will be a long lonely road ahead.

Who will replace him on the wing?

I couldn’t make today’s game so watched on TV but that looked awful, absolutely gutted for him. Sky said it was a suspected broken tib and fib, he will do well to be fit for next season.

You would think Escare on Monday but Marshall is due back next week

It happened right in front of where I sat and was horrendous to see. Nice thumbs up to the crowd as he was being taken from the pitch. A thumb that clearly said “I will be back” good luck Tom, I’m sure you will come back stronger.
