Props still a huge concern for me with little trust in Tautai and Partington bringing very little go forward. I’d like to see Byrne given another shot pretty soon and hopefully Jack Wells can get through some more games for Swinton.

From that I’d go-

Hardaker
Marshall Sarginson Gildart Burgess
Williams Shorrocks
Bullock Leuluai Flower
Hankinson Greenwood Isa

Subs
Lockers
Powell
Partington
Smithies

I just can’t select Tautai on current defensive form, it’s horrendous. I’d get Isa in the middle and spell him and let Hankinson see if he can make a go if it at second row.

Tautai will be in ahead of Smithies. Lam doesn’t want to over use Smithies and he wasn’t supposed to play on Monday until Lockers withdrew and then he was thrown back in.
I can see Smithies and Escare missing out.

Hardaker
Marshall
Sarginson
Gildart
Burgess
Williams
Shorrocks
Flower
Leuluai
Bullock
Hankinson
Greenwood
O’Loughlin

Isa
Partington
Tautai
Powell

I'd leave Hardaker at centre and Escare fb benching Sarge.

Lam will rest the young lads unless someone pulls out late notice.

Escare,
Marshall, Hardaker, Gildart, Burgess, Williams, Leuluai, Flower, Powell, Bullock, Hankinson, Greenwood, O'Loughlin.
Bench - Tautai, Partington, Isa & Sarginson.

With Escare ar fb we have a very fast back three and pace is something Cas lack, bar Eden.
Replacing Isa with Hankinson is adding size to the pack which is how they worked us over at their place.

Cas look depleated looking at their squad with no Moors, Sene Lefao, Millington or Cook (who always plays well against us) so that’s a bonus when it comes to our lack of quality props.

Aye you’ll be right but it’s a sign of how few options we have in the middle when Tautai will get another game after his defensive efforts these past few weeks.

I would have Isa, Partington and smithies all before Hankinson.

Hankinson on the bench and drop TT

Cant see anything but a Wigan win. We are low on troops and now missing Shenny we have lost our captain. Our backline is dreadful especially our right side.
Wigan by at least 20. Hardaker to have a MOM performance.

Will likely be very wet tomorrow - not sure that will help us given how weak our forward pack is.

Ours ain't much better. With Cook and Moors missing our only real go forward we have is Watts.
