Salary Cap Value for Money : Sat May 25, 2019 8:39 pm
Assuming both Wigan and Warrington are at the top end of the Salary Cap, how on earth can the respective clubs have squads of such different quality?

How have we got to a situation where our cap is spent on Sammut, Hankinson, Bullock, Powell, yet Wire can afford Charnley, Lineham, Rachford, Austin, Patten, Murdoch-Massila, Hill, Clark, Hughes etc etc

You either shop at Waitrose or you look for bargains at Lidl. I guess Radlinski being of Eastern Europe descendant prefers Lidl

But we are paying the same price for a sub-standard Lidl product as Warrington are for a brand name Waitrose product!

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Hankinson should have been selling foam hands outside the ground.

I can’t for the life of me see how we can be to the cap but if I go with the line that we are then it can only be that we’re spreading the money too far and wide rather then keeping the squad trimmed back.

In shopping terms were stock piling items from Costco rather then going picking up the good stuff on a regular basis from Waitrose.

You can spend £100 a week in Waitrose on your weekly shop, you can spend £100 a week in Lidl too.

But what we need is the staples, not crap from the middle isle.

First things first, we needs a couple of props, a hooker and a scrum half who can organise and kick.

At least you can take stuff back to Costco and get your money back, wish we could do that with some of our players.

Wherever Radlinski is shopping, you can guarantee it will have a WN postcode.

Hill/Murdoch-Massila Vs Flower/Tauti

Clark v Powell

Patten v Sammutt

No wonder we are sinking fast.
