Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Agree Bullock and Flower should be Props 3 & 4.

2 quality Props needed, Clarke signed up, so looking like we need 1 real top class Prop.

I’d be tempted to play Flower at 13 as an extra prop making Clarke our 3rd choice, Bullock 4th but we’d still need 2 quality props.

Sorry. Tom Lineham is garbage and like most other players from Hull, can’t play when they leave Hull.

Toby King is garbage, the worst Warrington centre I’ve ever known.

Dec Patton is bang average.

Mike Cooper is a shadow of the player who played in the NRL.

Currie is injury prone and since his last injury hasn’t done anything of note.

Etc, Austin is a cracking player as is Mamo, Charnely, Goodwin, Hill, Clarke, etc.

All in all those average players are coached by a decent coach, and even yesterday they played terrible and still beat us.

I know you've had a bad weekend, and you're hitting out hun,but thats a load of crap(cept maybe the patton bit)

I wondered how long it would take to get a bite.

I was highlighting the players you slated in your list hence why I didn’t mention Tomkins, Bateman and Sutton. And I’d say all three were replaced with Hardaker, Greenwood and Bullock but I can’t be bothered with that debate again.

Hardly like for like though. Hardaker been out the game 18 months and has issues.
Greenwood potential, but not a patch on Bateman
Bullock replacing Sutton - like replacing fine dining with a greasy kebab.

All three have been replaced by much lesser quality, yet we are told our cap is full - how can that be unless we are overpaying?

'Tom Lineham garbage'!....I stopped reading your post there.

He simply IS the best winger in SL after maybe Makinson but just.
Charnely isn't as complete a player as Lineham and thrives off a good centre and always did...he's as good as the Charnely that left Wigan...I'll agree that Wire 3/4s aren't the best passers.
Take off the cherry specs.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

If Tom Lineham is in the best two wingers in Superleague then it's no wonder the game is in the mess it is.

Wingers better than Lineham:

Makinson, Charnley, Burgess, Manfredi, Briscoe, Handley, McGilvary, Oloherts, Uate, Bibby, Jones-Bishop, Johnstone, Faraimo.

With an argument on whether Grace, Marshall and Eden are better.

Linehams alright. A decent SL winger but no where near the class of Johnstone or Makinson
