Wigan Head Coach names 19-man squad to face Leeds Rhinos Hardaker and Flower miss out due to injury Leeds Rhinos vs Wigan Warriors, Betfred Super League, Emerald Headingley, Friday 14th June, K.O. 7:45pm Wigan Warriors Head Coach Adrian Lam has named the 19-man squad to face Leeds Rhinos this Friday in the Betfred Super League. The sides will meet for the second time this season on Friday evening. Their first clash came in February at the DW Stadium where the Warriors came out 34-16 victors thanks to tries from Sarginson, Flower, Greenwood, Bullock, Williams and Farrell. Injury news Hardaker misses out of the 19 due to a hamstring injury sustained last week vs Hull KR. Ben Flower also misses out due to a back injury picked up in the same game. I don't know how close Tautai is to the other Wigan players, but this latest idiocy and its potential serious outcome is bound to have an effect on the team as they prep for this most important game.

I really can't believe it, to be honest. Things like this, soft missed-tackles, dropped balls in great attack positions etc, it sometimes feels as Wigan's own players are conspiring against them.

As a neutral, that squad will make v Leeds a compelling nervy fantastic watch ....or an utter bag of dross from 2 poor teams.
I hope it's the former.

You know things are pretty poor when we're all pinning our hopes on an 'over the hill' ex-championship scrum half who's just come back from a month's injury period, to put some fizz into our attack in the hope that we beat a very poor Leeds team.

BTW I quite like Sammut, overall has been one of the very few shining lights during a very dark season so far.
