Fanzone - did anyone go?

I did, thought it was pretty good. Obviously early days. We were asked to give feedback and informed not to judge them on yesterday but in 6-12 months time.

I quite enjoyed it, few things for kids to do. Hopefully fans will migrate from the South Stand pre-game.

Thought the lads from Wigan Fan TV did well. Good interviews all round.

Queue for the bar was long with only one pump (and lager only). Hopefully this can be sorted as crowds increase with an extra bottle or can bar?

Loved the little club shop portacabin.

Felt good to finally buy a pint knowing all proceeds go to Wigan RL and not 'them men'. Tasted sweet, the first since Central Park days.

Agree with all of that Matty and I'm sure it will get even better.
Bigger bar required and more than one guy serving would be good.

We've gone 2 weeks in a row,the highlight for me last night was the young kid asking Sean o'loughlin why Escare wasn't playing, lockers should have been a politician he said everything but the truth

I didn't go, although I had intended too; sure I will at some point in the future. The idea is good, and worth supporting.

It's at the Arena behind the South Stand. The gates were open so you could walk inside, burger van, inflatables, bar, seating areas, club shop.

That must have been why the East stand concourse was the quietest I’ve known since the stadium opened before the game.

Hope this takes off. Good initiative by the club!
