Might help with injury rates and recuperation too.
Should allow them to complete against non reserve sides too IMO
Stick them in the challenge cup but potential cup tie senior players over a certain age to stop us SL teams putting first teamers in there

Posted: Wed Jul 17, 2019 9:00 pmThe 11 English Super League teams, Bradford & Widnes are all required to have a reserves side. There have been applications from 5 other teams to enter the league, I would suspect Halifax to be one of those along with someone like Newcastle & Sheffield perhaps?

Definitely Newcastle (I know someone involved) probably Keighley too, they run a reserves.

Robin Park I presume. That's where the reserves played last year in the odd game they arranged.
