Walmesley is just a big unit with a few decent carries but has a soft underbelly and always makes handling errors in big games.

Thompson over rated to the hilt. Outplayed by Mike Cooper.

Roby on the decline badly. A couple of years ago he would of tore Warringtons tired defence apart with his runs from dummy half.

One indifferent game doesn't make Thompson a bad player. I would have him in my side over Cooper every day of the week. Same goes for Coote, come to that. Don't disagree otherwise, though.

You're completely right, but performances like that kind of justify why NRL clubs pass on players of other teams and sign guys from Wigan.

Thompson is a good player, but Sutton would never have put in a performance as bad as that in a final. That's why they get passed over imo - bottle is a massive part of it.
