If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

The Joe Burgess and Clubb re-signings are criminal IMO.

Ever since he said “he’d like another crack at the NRL” we should have been trying to move Burgess on. Shadow of the player he was at 19.

If we lose Davies to Leeds but keep burgess for a year that would be criminal.

Clubb looks finished.

But we have taken away shoulder charges which were regularly used to knock an opposition player to kingdom come. The game has never been more sterile IMO.

Is it time RL players were forced to wear helmets like the NRL?

It could well come to helmets in the end..once a lawyer gets a case together than games such as rugby are very much in the firing line, sterile it may be but it’s the future, our blame everyone else culture you have to thank for it too.

Not sure if you're a troll or just chatting BS because of 'bro science' syndrome.

If you'd read any of the research on CTE in sport (especially the stuff related to the NFL) then you'd realise the helmets provide no protection from concussions.

Why engage or bring up a topic if you haven't read up on the science behind it?

A player in the NFL (think it was a Raiders player) was banned for the year last week for a helmet to helmet tackle and a QB got knocked out cold last night after another helmet to helmet clash.
Who knows, they might look at getting rid of helmets at this rate.

I am trying to discuss the subject and asking questions. Is that ok or do i need a special license from you and your clique?

At no point have i tried to pretend to be an expert and im pretty sure you are not an expert either.

Well i mean the NRL wear helmets and you have to wear an helmet on a motorbike so i am guessing that they do offer some protection from head injuries. I know i would rather clash heads with somebody with an helmet on rather than no helmet.

Perhaps a redesign of the helmets to have soft padding on the outside to cushion the impact?
