Shot Clock!

The one good thing that has happend this year is that the shot clock to make teams form scrums and hurry up with drop outs as been a good decision. Bilko has mentioned on twitter that the Grand Final lastes only 42 minutes and 48 seconds in the first half and 47 minutes in the second! Compared to 53 minutes first half and 65 minutes second half in last years Grand Final. This years game finished at 7.51pm meaning there was lots of time to do interviews to the trophy presentation e.t.c. Wigan's game away to Saints recently finished at 9.31pm! A few years ago Wigan cup semi final with Hull started at 8.03pm and only finishsed 10.09pm.

Why do you want the game to finish early, you got something terminal?

Truth be told I’ve barely noticed it or the effect it’s had on games

Excellent rule which has really helped speed things up, in my opinion.

I hadn't noticed it really but Bilko's stats are staggering. They suggest a massive improvement.
Thanks Bilko!

In actual time the game finished 22 minutes quicker than last season. Scrums in 2018 were taking well over a minute last year and "injuries" even longer. It has been a huge improvement and the game is better for it. Not sure it's suited Wigan mind.
