Of course it's a job. They're there to do their best and get paid for it just like we all are at our jobs. If there is a better opportunity, they would more or less all be off. This has been proven time and time again with S.Tomkins, J.Tomkins, Williams, Ashton etc.

How many of our best 17 do you think are Wigan fans? Easily less than half. How many would sign for Saints if they were guaranteed a starting spot and double the wages? Probably all of them except MAYBE Farrell and Lockers. It doesn't mean they don't try hard, but you're making it a lot more emotional than it really is to the players.

I think with Joe the coaching team need to have a sit down with him and say that this is his make or break season,if he rips it up scores a lot of tries he gets a new contract and if he doesn't its bye bye

Joe’s issue has never been scoring tries, it’s his defence effort and under the high ball that’s the issue, he looks sluggish in defence and gets caught drifting too far in field several times a game,
