What are you on about, I was only making the point that we do not have a stadium of our own thanks to our Council not helping the club in the same way that the Councils of St Helens and Warrington helped their clubs to find sites and grant planning permission for their Stadiums to be built.

Nothing to do with how you stood at Central Park!

And where would you put this new stadium that you are on about?,as long as we have a nice ground to play in i couldn't care less

The stadium was owned by Wigan Athletic Holdings as was the training ground. The club was owned by Wigan Athletic FC Ltd. It was done so that the assets could never be taken from WAFC should they go bust.

No monies from the stadium were ever paid to the football club they all went to the holdings company which was basically Whelco DW's family business.

According to company house it was owned by Wigan football company and they in tern were mainly owned by the holding company, so yeah it would have gone into their coffers

It didn't, and that comes from being in meetings with the chief exec discussing multiple facets of the club and how it was/is run.

Losing a tenant would be a risk to any business in the same way it would be to someone who rents out a house. If Wigan rugby were to move out then the stadium would lose income. If it didn't make it back from additional weddings or party nights then it could be in trouble yes. Nowhere does it say Latics can't survive.

Thats your opinion, which in my opinion means nothing. Nowhere does it say they could survive either.

Many do, but these days expect some cover from the weather, which is not the case for visiting supporters at Leeds.

Unless of course you want to stand in the East and West Stands incognito!

A bit of rain never hurt anyone and Leeds aren't allowed to put a roof on the away end because of the housing situated behind
