I think McManus is deluded. The two greatest wins sit with Wigan.

if you want St Helens to win then you are not a Wigan fan.

The Roosters forwards dominated nearly every team in the NRL last season, Saints will need to be at their very best to have the upper hand against that pack, even without the services of Cordner.

Correct.

Luke Thompson and Alex Walmsley are going to have to step up to a level they’ve not been to. It’s time to prove once and for all Luke Thompson’s credentials on the international stage. It can’t be denied he’s a very good prop but to be truly considered world class he has to step it up a gear on occasions such as this. It feels very much like a Stuart Fielden v Wests Tigers 2006 moment.

 Yeah, I dont see myself throwing all my Wigan gear away on the back of your say so. Keen for the British game to get some recognition - hopefully Saints can deliver that.

Agreed. Unless (in the old days of the Championship) a win for them in the last game of the season would secure a title win for us. It never happened thankfully.

They won't give the British game any recognition anyway

He was referencing the WCC competition not the ashes

I support Wigan and not rugby league. do you remember last year when all the other super league clubs all wanted us to win?? no me neither. they are missing key players so we would get no recognition anyway. i would be happy if roosters got a ponful toneet. but more importantly we get 2 points tomorrow and get to the top of super league.
