How much do Wigan charge for away fans?

For me £24 is a tad expensive but whether its £20 or £24 does it matter?

Is £4 going to stop you going? Or will it be another excuse for the ever increasing book?

Challenge cup final tickets and grand final tickets are on sale now at a far cheaper rate than they will be in July and October respectively. Should this be allowed?

Last week you were telling people who to support and this week how much to pay to a game

Concerning stewarding as long as a stand is open it needs a full compliment of stewards

PS
Good luck getting tickets for the game at our place on either of those sites.

Good- I take it they’ve given it up - it caused chaos the last time a bunch of hudds fans bought on Groupon. They weren’t expecting away fans to get them and couldn’t cope with the concept- couldn’t decide where we were allowed to sit......

Strange that
Because of it was in the south stand, you could have sat anywhere you want in the South stand.
If it were the east or west tou would have sat where your ticket told you to sit.
Cant see how complicated that is?

What actually happened?
I'd love to know, most have been chaos???

Anyway, one day we aspire to be a club that can win our first 3 games and be as well run as yourselves.

Ah well there was the problem. We couldn’t go in the away stand although we wanted to (not sure why not) - was put in one of the side stands- but our tickets didnt have seat numbers on- we were told to sit anywhere in the stand-which we did- a big group of us all from the same coach all sat together - but then people with tickets kept coming and complaining we were in their seat. Folk got peed off with being moved several times- it all kicked off- in the end the stewards relented and allowed us in the away end as they couldnt cope.
The point is- wigan has had discounted tickets- they didn’t expect away fans to take those up though..... I’m sure there’s a rule about not charging away fans more.........

You couldn't go in the away stand because we don't open it for the 12 of you. All tickets at Wigan are produced with a seat number including those in the unreserved south stand. The cost to sit in the south and north are the same. If you sit in the east, you pay a higher price for a better view.

i was one of those too and the away stand was open and we did end up getting put in there we had a decent away following back then though as we were doing pretty well there were quite a few giants fan bought off groupon so were quite a few to move and the stewards panicked as wigan fans were spitting pie crust everywhere

Mist have been like hell on earth!
I mean, if Wigan fans had bought those tickets they would have had seat numbers on, you know, like most tickets usually do.
But you lot, oh dear, having to look at a seat number and then find your way to that seat number, and then, well, I can only guess at the horrors you went through.

Seems strange how at nearly every match I go to in the east I see at least a few fans from the away team in there and they dont seem to have any issues?

Anyway, if any Wigan fans are reading this
Rest assured, when you get to Huddersfield today I'm sure that theyll have it organised much better than we do.
I suppose anyone wanting to make their minds up today can understand now where their extra £4 is going to.
It must be so a chaperone can guide you to your seat!
