Sure, but at the same time it would be a big relief to see him fully firing again in the NRL before he comes back.

Didn't the Warriors bring Tomkins back too soon and put him out of the first 6 months of the season for us? Hope Bateman takes it a bit easy

Very nearly finished his career bringing him back early and I think he only started to show he had fully recovered at the back end of last year and the start of this for Catalans.
