Catalan beat Leeds 34 - 6 tonight so we're back to 3rd.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

All a bit strange but I do think we could face a battle to stay in there, particularly given a tough run in.

Does anyone know whether there is still a plan for Catalans to fulfil all their fixtures or will SL just not bother to rearrange some of them? I hope that we dont have a situation where Catalans (or any team) gets in the playoffs simply because they have played less games.

It could happen as that's why the SL went for a League table based on the percentage number of wins as some clubs may not be able to play all their fixtures. As far as I can reckon the top four is between five clubs. With our large squad, the talent there, Lam should be able to attain a top four finish at least if not second. That's what he should be aiming for so we get a home semi for the GF.

Will there even be such a thing as a home semi final?

Don’t think there will be a home semi, I imagine it might be a double header at a neutral venue. Will the final be at OT?

May as well play it on Shevy playing fields for all it matters. You’d imagine they will stick to OT though in the same way they’re using Wembley for the CC final - incidently there’ll be a similar atmosphere at Wembley this year as most years, when there are fans. :|

Surely since lockdown Leeds Saints Warrington etc are benefitting from home advantage - feel sorry for the Hull clubs (never thought I'd say that !)
