again no better than he was at leeds just a different coach, you could argue Lui has played better than he did at Salford at Leeds since the coach switch, all looking like a myth at the moment

Super League has deep rooted history with teams/coaches taking on cast-offs and putting an arm around a player to get an extra 10/20% out of them.

It generally gets you decent, hard working performances but yet to deliver any sort of success or trophies.

I know what sort of mentality/strategy I would want in a club, and it's not that one.

If we bring TJ in (which is a huge risk with his injury issues) then one of Marshall or Manfredi has to go and the likes of Bibby will be 3rd choice. Otherwise we potentially lose a forward from somewhere.

Wigan Specialist Wingers over the last seven seasons:-

2014 - Charnley, Manfredi, Tierney.
2015 - Burgess, Charnley, Manfredi, Tierney.
2016 - Charnley, Manfredi, Tierney.
2017 - Burgess, Manfredi, Marshall, Tierney.
2018 - Burgess, Davies, Manfredi, Marshall,
2019 - Burgess, Davies, Manfredi, Marshall,
2020 - Burgess, Manfredi, Marshall.

Except for 2014, 2016 and this season where we have had a centre on the wing, we have had four specialist wingers, so a new specialist winger like Davies, Johnstone etc for next season would be more than welcome, especially if Burgess is as rumoured leaving for Salford.

The loss of one of the many forward players would not be missed!
