I know this is going back a bit but watching the game v Bath on sky sports mix i have to think lots must have gone on behind the scenes e.g. Offiah left ft in June and Quinnel and more left the year after. The club must have been millions in debt!

Before my time but wasn't that the year they introduced the salary cap? Probably answers your question.

He was certainly past his best, however his 85% was leagues ahead of anyone else (Bar Robinson) and it was about 1,000,000 better than Paul Kolois !!!

We were that desperate for cash we were fabricating fake transfers and sueing the local papers to get money in!

The darkest year in the history of the club!

Never been the same since as a result of Whelan getting all his own way!

Even the ball on the former Central Park site has been neglected!

Connolly, Robinson,Tuigamala, Radlinski, Offiah, Paul, Edwards.

Still probably the best back line we've ever had.
