Stating on Topic (and bear with as this is just a joke)

Hes played 20 minutes in the 1st team and they think he's special
Hes made an average 8mtrs per carry and they think he's great
Hes missed 2 tackles which isn't Brill
That don't Impress me much !
Hes got the moves but as he got the touch!

Sorry guys!!!

This whole topic just shows how little we have to talk about. It seems to be a spat between the glass half full brigade and the glass half empty. It is nice to think that there might be talented players moving through the ranks but I doubt that few of us are much more than hopeful that this youngster might eventually be the finished article. It is really sad to see the negativity though that this topic has created. There must be a few of you who go down a scream at parties. Perhaps we should ban all positive threads because they cause a spittle flecked response from the land of the trolls. I think the main point of the original post was that the poster hoped that KPP would kick on after a reasonably positive start. Sadly the straw men came out suggesting that KPP had been identified as the second coming. Perhaps we should all just decide that this year we are going to be relegated and just give up. It sounds like a convention of nihilists.

He's getting a nice write up again in The Post, looks like he might be first in line if Farrell/Bateman are missing

Read that and it does seem like they’re excited about him. He’ll need to get past Smithies, Isa and possibly Partington and also in front of Shorrocks but it’s a long season and I’m looking forward to seeing more of it. I’m hoping to see a lot more of Ben Kilner as well this season. If we’re talking about impressive one off performances against Saints, he probably showed up better than anyone and he’s of an age now where the breakthrough needs to come.

He interviews really well.
Speaks fluently and with confidence.
Hope he gets to shine on the pitch as well in the coming season.

I agree about Kilner and for me he could be as promising as Havard. I’m looking forward to seeing the crop of youngsters this season.

I wouldn’t be totally shocked if he played a bit of front row this year kpp. Says he has put some timber on. He is certainly big enough to play there?

Nah don't think we'll see him there even for a game. Besides the fact he's never played there, it's also a position we have a lot of players already competing for spots. He has way less competition at second row, and even less at centre. We are already weak at prop without throwing in a 19 year old who's never played there before. Maybe later in his career if he makes it as we've seen other players do.
