Was always on the cards, we have gotten more out of him than I would’ve thought tbh.

Would like to see him stay but it’s always seemed likely he’ll go at some point and his injury record these past couple of seasons is getting concerning. He’s commented himself that his shoulder will need to be managed for the rest of his career for starters.

If he goes then we’ll need to see what’s available to replace him.

How do you think he will do in the NRL, good SL player, but when I look at some of the NRL centres I think he may struggle. Very few backs do well in the NRL from the UK?

It's hardly news is it? He's said all along that he'd like to have a go over in Aus. Good luck to him. He'll have completed seven seasons at Wigan at the end of this year.
His three best mates, Williams, Sutton and Joe Burgess have experienced the Aussie lifestyle so it was almost inevitable that he would want to try his luck.
If he stays fit he should do well over there.

Didn't seem to miss a beat at International level. Other alleged better centres have done.

I think he could be solid in the NRL. He had a great game in the WCC, think he did well for England against NZ. I've never thought he struggled in defence.

He would probably be on the small side and his injuries might be a concern but playing for a bad team is often a bigger problem for guys who go over there IMO.

It continues to be frustrating having half our best players on the verge of leaving every season. I was jaded at the end of 2018 with Wane, Tomkins and Bateman leaving. I'm starting to like the current team and we could be losing Gildart, Hastings and French.

While against, have he only played against NZ, Jake Connor has looked great at international level, but I'm not sure he would be good enough to play in the NRL.

You will be fine because you are still the most attractive club in SL to NRL players are top players from the lower SL clubs, someone like Seizer would jump at the chance to play for Wigan.

You also seem to do well at getting your players back from the NRL, all of this along with the fact along with Saints you have the best academy, you will be fine. But I can why you get frustrated.

I think he’d step up. There’s more in him yet IMO and a move out of his comfort zone may bring that out of him. There are some top centres over there but there are some very average ones as well. I personally think he and Connor would do well in the NRL. They both are really talented and especially in Connors case, I think the bigger the challenge the more they step it up.
